Product Overview

Double-hung windows retain a two-sash appearance while allowing movement of both the upper and lower sash. This creates a different operating arrangement from a single-hung window. Cleaning mechanisms, locks and opening restrictions vary by product and should be specified separately.

How It Operates

Both sashes move vertically within the frame. The opening position can be adjusted at the top or bottom, subject to the selected system and hardware.

Features

Two vertically moving sashes
Upper and lower opening positions
Traditional two-sash arrangement

Typical Applications

Residential elevations and replacement projects where two operating sashes are part of the design brief. Consider operator reach and any required opening restrictions.
