Window Supply FAQs

Find answers about choosing windows, preparing a supply inquiry, reviewing your order and planning delivery. For order-specific details, refer to your quotation and written order documents.

Getting Started

Do you supply windows or install them too?

We supply windows only. Customers arrange measuring, installation and site work with their own contractor; see Who We Supply for our supply scope.

Can homeowners request a quote?

Yes. Homeowners, contractors, builders and project buyers are welcome to request a window supply quote. Share your preferred styles, approximate sizes, quantities and project location.

Can I inquire before all dimensions and specifications are final?

Yes, preliminary inquiries are welcome. Clearly mark approximate sizes and undecided details; final dimensions and specifications need confirmation before order approval. Start with the Window Buying Guide.

What information should I include in a quote request?

Include window references, styles, quantities, preliminary dimensions and measurement units, plus frame, finish and glazing preferences where known. Add your project island or ZIP code and any required performance documentation. Use the quote request page and email plans or schedules to info@hawaiiwindowsupply.com.

Products & Specifications

Which window styles can I explore?

Explore sliding, casement, awning, picture/fixed, single-hung, double-hung and jalousie/louver styles. Specialty/custom-shape and commercial aluminum categories offer additional options to discuss. View the product catalog; exact products and availability are confirmed through your quotation.

Who confirms final ordering dimensions?

You and your contractor or design team must confirm final ordering dimensions and project requirements before approving the order. Preliminary inquiry measurements are not final manufacturing instructions. Review the Ordering & Delivery Guide before approval.

What is the difference between a rough-opening size and a window-unit size?

A rough-opening size describes the opening prepared in the building; a window-unit size describes the window assembly itself. They are not interchangeable, and there is no universal deduction or clearance rule. Your project professionals must confirm final dimensions and required clearances for the selected system; the buying guide explains what to label in your inquiry.

How do I confirm available frame, finish and glazing options?

Send your preferences or the exact specification from your project team, including photos if you are matching existing windows. Review the manufacturer, series, frame, finish and glazing identified in your quotation rather than assuming every option is available in every style. Begin with the relevant product family.

Are impact or other performance ratings the same for every window?

No. Performance depends on the specific product, assembly and configuration, so a style name alone does not establish an impact, structural or energy rating. Provide your project requirements and confirm the exact supporting documentation before approval, as explained in our Terms & Conditions.

Ordering & Delivery

What affects the price of a window order?

Style, dimensions, frame material, finish, glazing, quantities and required components define the product scope. Freight and handling also affect the total. Request a quotation for a consistent window schedule and delivery destination.

What determines availability and lead times?

Selected products, supplier availability, customization and freight arrangements affect timing. Production and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees; discuss essential deadlines before approving your order. See the Ordering & Delivery Guide.

How are delivery options confirmed for my island or project location?

Provide your island, address or ZIP code, receiving contact and site-access details. Coverage, delivery method and freight costs are confirmed for the particular order and destination; delivery to every island is not promised. Use the Hawaii Delivery overview to prepare your information.

Is unloading included?

Do not assume unloading is included. Confirm who provides equipment, labor and receiving space in the written delivery arrangements before dispatch. Review the receiving considerations on Hawaii Delivery.

Can I change an order after approval?

Contact the team promptly with your order reference and requested changes; a request is not accepted until confirmed in writing. Cancellations, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted once an order is confirmed and supplier commitments have been made, subject to applicable law and written exceptions. Read the Refund & Return Policy and your accepted order documents.

Existing Orders & Support

How do I report damaged, incorrect or missing items?

Check delivered items against the order, note visible damage or shortages on delivery paperwork where possible, and photograph affected items, packaging and labels. Email info@hawaiiwindowsupply.com promptly with your order reference, including issues discovered after unpacking. Follow the Refund & Return Policy and applicable supplier handling instructions.

Where can I find warranty information for my order?

Review the documentation for the exact products in your quotation and written order documents. Ask the team to identify any applicable warranty terms and support process; coverage must not be assumed from the window style alone. Contact us about your order with its reference and product details.

How do I contact the team about an existing order?

Email info@hawaiiwindowsupply.com with your order or quotation reference, affected products and a short explanation. Attach relevant photos or documents where useful, and see Contact Us for the right inquiry route.

Have a question about your project?
